PLAN SOMETHING WORTH CELEBRATING
Shipping a piñata: plan the whole package
A good shipping plan starts with the finished box, protected decorations and the date the customer needs it.
Marketplace coming soon. Orders and payments are not open yet.
What measurements does a maker need?
Record the closed box length, width and height, packed weight and origin and destination ZIP codes. Carriers may use dimensional weight and additional size charges. The piñata's own height is not enough for an accurate shipping quote.
What should the quote show?
Separate production time from carrier transit time. Confirm shipping cost, carrier service, tracking, packaging and the process for reporting damage. A printed label does not mean the package has been accepted by the carrier.
A repeatable maker checklist
- Photograph the finished product and packing method.
- Protect fringe, points and hanging attachments with a documented package design.
- Measure and weigh the closed parcel.
- Validate the address and obtain a current carrier rate.
- After an authorized label purchase, record the tracking number and carrier acceptance.
All Pinatas has not connected label purchasing yet. No label charges are active.
